Neptune, . . so long and thanks for all the fish.

can't haunt me by ansziadesign on deviant art.

Neptune will end his long transit of Aquarius on February 4th--not long to go now.

It's been an amazing fifteen or so years since Neptune first moved into Aquarius in 1998. Because Neptune is an outer planet and takes 164.79 to orbit the Sun, those of us alive today will never again experience quite the same sort of strange peregrinations Neptune in Aquarius has sent us on. If technology was ever going to play an important part in our lives Neptune in Aquarius was celestially the perfect time for this to happen. And voila, the internet and the webs took off big time undoubtedly the single most profound 'change' the world has seen. Social media and ability to 'connect' with potentially hundreds of millions people is a phenomena unprecedented in the history of mankind.  It is as big as the Industrial revolution, but hopefully not quite as toxic. . . .

The most exciting aspect of this for me, is the sharing of big ideas.  Big ideas filter down through the celestial and spiritual worlds, sometimes only to terminate in the natural world with us.  It has however been demonstrated that some of the world's biggest ideas,  came to individuals across the globe simultaneously who had no idea of the other's existence.  We now have the ability to communicate big ideas en masse.  For a world and planet that desperately needs us to actualise the good ideas we receive, the webs provide a place where ideas can take off and spread like wildfire.

The first new Moon of 2012 will be on January 23rd at 17:39 (Sydney time) in Aquarius and it will give us one last opportunity to take the best of what we've learnt in the last 15 years and make it more real in our lives.

Come back tomorrow for a breakdown for each sign and how Neptune's transit through Aquarius has changed you at a profound level to prepare you for a whole new era.  I started it here, but it's taking a little longer than I thought.
