Mercury Retrograde--by sign.

From here

Mercury stations retrograde on Monday, March 12, (2012) at 6 degrees of Aries.  Uranus is inching along through Aries and is currently at 3.4 degrees, which means Mercury will pass backwards, as it were, over Uranus again on March 18, having made it's initial fly-by on March 6 last week.

What does this mean?  It means the speedy planet Mercury, (from our POV i.e, Earth), will cross over Uranus thrice, before finally stationing direct, again on April 4 @ 24 degrees of Pisces.  Mercury moves swiftly, zapping everything in it's wake with mercurial charge.  It keeps us all thinking, talking, opens the way for negotiation and keeps us ever doing deals.  We barely have the time to notice until (or course) it stops.  That it 'stops' in Aries and passes over Uranus seems to be driving home the point, the message here. There is obviously tremendous energy being directed towards 'reform' in the world, successful and not so. There is also, potentially at people's disposal a powerderkeg of energy to force these reforms through.  Iran? Anyone? Syria?  The cosmos is putting the brakes on hard for good reason.

Does anybody seriously believe Greece will be able to repay what is I'd wager a largely dishonest debt?  Everybody suspects the answer to this.  But nobody is saying it.  The people who govern our lives-- the financiers, speculators and economists are patently insane--and we all, including the financiers, speculators and economists must witness this madness of money, unfold like some sort of slow motion train wreck.  Were I a Greek I'd be heading to the hills to become a goat herd and practising my music.

It's a big sky.  It's a great sky.  Today it's a blue sky. It seems to be an interesting year for the procrastinator.  Of myself, I can 'do' nothing although doing absolutely nothing would require me to be more than dead.

Mars is retrograde in Virgo, Saturn is retrograde in Libra and Mercury retrograde in Aries.  Is this the cosmos telling us to stop and think about what exactly it is that we are doing?  How exactly is it that we treat each other?  And how we  'action' (sorry 'bout that) what it is that we are exactly doing (to each other).  For some it's a huge cosmic STOP & Think exercise, while for others it STOP and 'feel' or STOP and 'sense'.   Time to sniff the wind.  Forbearance is quite obviously some sort of virtue at the moment.  Patience opens up worlds of eternal nows,  so you may as well make the most of them.   Or as Woody Allen put it:

Eternity is a long time, especially towards the end.

Mercury will retrograde in Aries and move back into Pisces. The relationship between Aries and Pisces as next door neighbours strikes me as an interesting one to ponder.  The impetuous God of War Ares alongside the deeply convoluted Pisces.  On the Zodiac it's the serpent devouring itself, (!) the symbol for eternity.

Life seems so very contradictory at times.  Appearances are always deceptive, but they do speak of the character of what is hidden.  A two (at the very least)-speed reality.  What's above, what's below.

What to do?  What to do?

Go with energies of your Sun sign.  With all this retrograde 'activity' take the time to think about what your Sun sign means, how does it fit into our world what are its unique talents? What does it have to offer the world?

Aries

Well you were never going to use your Mercurial cunning to engage in thermo-nuclear war, while your Sun was at the tail end of it's cycle were you?  The Sun is still in Pisces--your 12th.  So we are all safe for a while . . .

Taurus

Sun in your 11th moving into your 12th house on 21 March, Mercury stationing retrograde in your 12th moving backwards into your 11th house   it's a bit confusing really. Muddy waters with other people.  Disengage a bit from others, but delight your senses.  You're going to love next week, if you don't seek clarity from outside.

Gemini

Sun in your 10th Mercury retrograde in your 11th.  Your public life, and career continues to be the focus of your attention. But you're being encouraged to track deeper here. Think about what Gemini does best.  Forget about (as best you can) your impact on others.  Bring out your true talent and genius by being convinced, as you should be, that what you think you do best . . . is . . . for everybody.

Cancer

Sun in your 9th house, Mercury stationing retrograde in your 10th.  It's a bit frustrating, obviously, for the worlds canniest and most brilliant entrepreneur, to have had more than his fair share of obstruction and obfuscation.  But hey, what a beautiful moon that was.  Still, you can't ignore the peoples, even if they are a bit dull sometimes.  Duh.  Enjoy the Earth trine this week.  You may not be able to get people moving on a project, but you will have a beautiful understanding of why they're not which is of itself priceless.

Leo

My advice to anyone who'll listen is to make like a Leo and be governed by the Sun.  Their Sun, which is also your Sun.  Indeed the only one we've got. The Sun is your essence self, your God self --what links us all.  But we need to be practical in all this too. The ruler must teach himself, he must inform himself, he must be honest, but never ignorant. Your career, your health, and your money, crudely put, are the areas that you need to do absolutely nothing about next week, other than not get in the way of. The Earth trine of next week will work it's magic much better if you don't exert control here.  You, or one of you, in the  meantime needs to do some swatting about the deep and meaningfuls which won't be too hard as there's plenty of psychic energy for this.

Virgo

The Sun is in your 7th house is casting it's annual brilliance into the marriage, relationship area of your chart.  Mercury retrograde in your 8th suggests financial stuff ups or hold ups and it's the Virgos amongst us who should take this retrograde most seriously in terms of not committing to any dodgy financial activities, tax evasion schemes, diddling of the partner's finances etcetera, and be mindful of that sort of activity in projected form from others.  Love those nearest and dearest.  Relationships are undoubtedly the hardest things of life, (especially in a personality obsessed world).  We are not our personalities and neither is your partner limited to one or half a dozen, personalities.  Persona= sounding through it's what the essence sounds through.  Or in a personality obsessed culture, it's what muffles, stifles and drowns out the essence.

Libra

One foot in front of another, with a spring in your step.  Keep it up Libra, you are almost there. The Sun is in your 6th house of work, service and healthy routines.  Staying grounded and discovering that your physical self is a well-spring of growth opportunities is the best place for your 'head' while Mercury dilly dallies hither thither.

Scorpio

Your Sun is in your 5th house of adventures, children, and the range of experience that '5' brings. The Turkish have a saying-- Everybody different like the five fingers on my hand.  If four is a sort of wholeness, five is wow! Something else, something more, something new, something other to experience.

Mercury stations retrograde in your 6th house of work, health, routine and service to others.  Having Mercury station retrograde in this part of your chart is a boon for reworking and reconfiguring these areas of your life.  With the Sun is in your 5th house continue to focus on your offspring, and the range of wordly delights that normally don't routinely come your way or stay for very long.  Whilst it seems most situations are being revisited this year.  If you have children you know, that youth is over in a blink of an eye.  Adorable babies become not so adorable adolescents, psychopaths, homocidal maniacs, tyrants, entrepreneurs and fabulous nobodies but not your's huh?  We all had parents, who helped us to varying degrees.  In the end, parents must answer to everybody.  Fortunately, a time arrives in our lives, when we realise we have 'moved on', and that sometimes we are more evolved than our parents were, or that their parents (and society) allowed them to be. This is the point where personal responsibility kicks in with a very healthy serve of compassion.  Letting your children turn into who they more or less evolved than you, is part of your own growth.  Live and let live.

Sagittarius

The Sun is in your fourth house Sagg.  If we all gave more attention to our immediate sphere, made it more habitable, cleaner, happier and more beautiful we'd have a good solid, safe and friendly base from which to go out into the world.  Mercury retrograde in your 5th house then going backwards into your 4th.  I dunno.  Reschedule holidays and keep cleaning?  In the meantime enjoy next weeks' super healthy trine for your cash resources, your health, and your career.  When was the last time you had any fun?  Resolve now to have fun.  Nobody ever said having fun was difficult with Mercury retrograde, only if you complicate it with airline tickets and travel schedules.  As they say, it's not the destination. . . .

Capricorn

The Sun is in your 3rd house of communicating,  and thinking.  Mercury going awol in your fourth and backtracking into this house, has you revisiting issues to do with both your home your family of origin and how you think within these spheres of your life.  Super capable Capricorns please bask in the free flowing energy of Pluto (you know where), Venus, Jupiter and Mars.  See Leo (above).  Think about learning how to meditate or the benefits of taking yourself out of the circuit/rat race/hamster wheel for a spiritual pilgrammage. Even day dreams about this can give you a boost.

Aquarius

Finding a safe place to hide from a hostile and nonsensical world is and always will be very important for you to recharge, recoup and chill out for a while.  Lately it's been a pretty hectic time, and an exciting one. The Sun is still in your second house reminding you that this world demands that you somehow create money.  Mercury zapping around in the third house of thought and communication with the huge potential of Uranus comes to a screaming halt.  And all of a sudden a blessing comes by way of beautiful lodgings, spiritual revelations and or the money of a spouse or estate.  Go with the Sun, keep thinking you've got Uranus where you want him, but give yourself time to adjust to a whole new world, and the power of it's potential.

Pisces

Your solar year kicks off with a bit of on-again-off-again energy especially where romance or partnerships are involved.   The Sun is still in your first house.  You are still in a preliminary phase, just getting out of the blocks.  Any analogy you can think of for early beginnings and it's your essential self at present. This is an annual, cyclical state.  It's not that you are some sort of novice, you've just been through your annual renewal and all of a sudden, Neptune is there authenticating what you know.  That's new even if you already knew it.  An easing up of communication difficulties comes easily next week. No need for you to do a thing other than allow it to happen.  Do not obstruct and do not obfuscate.
