Best of the Webs

I read a lot of astrology on the net.  Three posts today in my reader stood out:

The Astrology of the Outsider.
"If this is you, it’s your job to wake other people up. That’s what Aquarians do; shake the rest of the world out of its complacency. The planet(s) in your chart touched by Aquarian energy are how you express this radical wake-up call. It’s beyond your control, you understand. That part of you is going to bring other people’s fears/flaws/limitations/talents into sharp relief. And when people snicker or spit or approach with curiosity (because you are insanely intriguing) you stay cool."
by Nadia Gilchrist of Ruby Slipper fame.

UPDATE:  To which I should add I was extremely glad to read the above post today.  Especially being told there was some actual point to being an outsider.  Bravo Nadia THANKS.

Whilst up in Canada, the Wonderful Willow writes:

The Wicked Web
The Gemini South Node is highly activated with Venus, Jupiter, Ceres, and Vesta in Gemini crowding around it in conjunction. Pallas Athene and Uranus in feisty Aries form a productive sextile to all the twins activity. And Mercury in Leo is primed to retrograde back and forth over trines to Pallas-Uranus in Aries and sextiles to the Gemini.

Things are pretty hoppin'. What we're thinking and saying right now have bigger long-term effects than we can imagine; conversations and connections are more potent.

Mercury, dispositing all that Gemini, goes retrograde July 14 at 12 degrees Leo, retrograding to 1 degree Leo and stationing direct August 8.

Mercury will also be retrograding through the degrees of the most recent Mars retrograde in Leo (the one before this last one in Virgo - December 2009 to March 2010).

Mercury in Leo retrograde re-connects heart and head.

And the learned Oxford Astrologer is running a similar theme:

Astrology of the Now: Pallas Athena Loves Uranus
Pallas Athena, the asteroid of strategy and weaving is in a cosy huddle with Uranus, the god of bright ideas. And the Moon is right there with them today, shining a soft silver glow on proceedings.
